Saratoga Lip Dub

WHAT: Saratoga Lip Dub. A Lip Dub is a type of video that combines lip synching and audio dubbing to make a music video. It is made by filming individuals or a group of people lip synching while listening to a song or any recorded audio then dubbing over it in post editing with the original audio of the song.
WHERE: Saratoga Springs City Center down Broadway to Congress Park. The basic route for the making of this Lip Dub will begin at the City Center, to Grove Street, left on Broadway (sidewalks) to end at Congress Park.
HOW: A Saratoga Lip Dub production task force from the Chamber and Modern Mix Marketing is working to engage the community in this unique promotion of Saratoga County attractions and destinations. Dozens of local organizations have been invited to take part by providing unique props and people to be featured in the music video. We’re also inviting the general public to participate and to appear in the video on our main stage at Congress Park.
WHEN: Filming will be Thursday, September 1, 2011, beginning at 12 p.m.
Rain date will be September 2, 2011.
WHY: Saratoga is a great county in which to live, work and vacation. This viral promotion is the first of its kind in this area and will take advantage of viral marketing with the potential for the Saratoga Lip Dub to be viewed by 10 million people. Many of whom we hope will consider visiting one of the many destinations or attractions we’re promoting in the video.
How can you be involved? Lip Sync along to Train songs, “Soul Sister”, “It’s Love” and “Drops of Jupiter”. Learn simple dance steps and most importantly-HAVE FUN!!!
