Visit the Creative Endeavors Gift Shop and Art Center, at 49 Front Street, in Ballston Spa. This shop is a program organized by Saratoga Bridges and offers holiday shoppers an opportunity to buy local and to make a positive difference in our community. The Gift Shop and Art Center is located at 49 Front Street, in Ballston Spa, New York. The Art Center cultivates the talents of individuals challenged by developmental disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, neurological impairment, and traumatic brain injury.
Here you can find a varied selection of artwork and craft items made by people in the Saratoga Bridges day habs and local artists. For instance, I purchased a couple of hand knitted scarfs and a very unique piece of art depicting the Historic Saratoga Race Course. The selection of items varies according to the season with an ever changing inventory of reasonably priced merchandise. Plus the customer service is outstanding – – polite, enthusiastic and truly excited to make a sale.
The gift shop is open Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and during the First Friday’s in Ballston Spa, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The gift shop is staffed by volunteers and consumers from the day hab program. For more details, please visit www.creativeendeavorsartists.com.
