“We’re very excited about our newly released website,” said Steeplechase Festival Co-Chair Barry Potoker. “Mannix Marketing has created a virtual home for this first ever Steeplechase Festival at Saratoga Race Course where you will get a sense of how thrilling this event will be.” General admission will be $20 on the day of the event, but tickets will be $15 each when purchased through the website. Also available are tickets to the grand Steeplechase Festival tent on the famed infield for $175 each which includes your seats, food, beverages and VIP parking. Clubhouse boxes are also available for $249 each which seats 4. Brown Paper Tickets is offering the service with a small service fee and accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. All paid admissions receive an official commemorative pin celebrating this inaugural festival.

Through many photos, the Steeplechase Festival at Saratoga’s website chronicles the rich history of steeplechase racing at the historic Saratoga Springs track as well as the excitement of steeplechase racing today. The event will feature five races for purses of $100,000, four over fences, highlighted by the $50,000 feature, The William Entenmann Memorial. The website also contains information on sponsorship and hospitality opportunities, souvenir merchandise including the official event poster by equine artist Sharon Crute, plus the day’s many activities, starting with a 9-furlong fun walk around the historic Saratoga dirt course. Also on the agenda is a carriage parade through Saratoga Springs to the track, an antique auto display, horsemanship exhibitions, a vendor village, food, music, and much more!

The New York Racing Association (NYRA) is the host benefactor, teaming up with the NSA and the Saratoga Springs community for this unique event experience, and will make available the historic Saratoga Race Course for this one spectacular day. What’s more, the famed infield will be accessible for the first time in nearly 30 years, for sponsor entertainment and hospitality purposes only, under corporate tents providing an exclusive, intimate view of the races. Proceeds from this first annual Steeplechase Festival at Saratoga will benefit both local and equine charities.

A committee of community leaders and volunteers, including the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce and the Saratoga Convention & Tourism Bureau, is at work coordinating and planning the details of this inaugural Steeplechase Festival at Saratoga.
