Bruce Parsons Recently Certified by The Institute for Sustainability

Glens Falls, NY–– The Institute for Sustainability, a division of Resource Associates Corporation, is pleased to announce that Bruce Parsons of Parsons Associates was recently certified as a member of The Institute for Sustainability (www.theinstituteforsustainability.com).  Bruce Parsons is certified to help organizations achieve higher levels of economic, social and environmental success by implementing sustainability strategies consistent with their Corporate Social Responsibility aspirations.

Parsons Associates (www.parsonsassociates.biz), is a management, leadership and professional coaching firm located in Glens Falls, NY.  Prior to founding Parsons Associates, Bruce Parsons worked 25 years in project and change management, marketing, sales and operations leadership positions with Kamyr, Inc, Ahlstrom Machinery, GE Power Systems, Boston Scientific Corporation and Navilyst Medical, Inc.

Bruce Parsons also served with distinction for four years as Combat Engineer Officer in the US Army, immediately following graduation from University of Massachusetts with a BS in Civil Engineering.  Parsons has participated as a volunteer coach with youth baseball, soccer and lacrosse organizations.  He also served for six years on the Board of Directors of the Tri-County United Way, leading one year as President of the Board.  Parsons is currently Chairperson for the Spirit of ’76 Scholarship Fund for Glens Falls High School.  Bruce Parsons lives in Glens Falls, NY with his wife and family.
